Visual Schedule Board supports multi-level bills of material and multi-level routing steps
in the vertically integrated manufacturing processes to provide real-time information for customer services, buyers
and shippers.
Production schedulers use the time and action calendar and workflow management with event triggered action messages
and e-mail notification to reduce the manufacturing cycle.
The Visual Schedule Board links customer and purchase orders to inventory availability, work orders, work-in-process
and the real-time machine schedules to:
- better utilize production capacity
- enhance the flow of material across manufacturing processes
- reduce lead-time at subcontractors and manufacturing plants
- maintain the required inventory levels across the full service supply chain
- improve customer services
Customer Order Management integrates sales, forecasting, on-line order booking, picking, packing, shipping
and invoicing.
Customer Services has order visibility across subcontractors, manufacturing plants, warehouse facilities associated
with manufacturing plants, distribution centers and the full service supply chain. |

Automotive Release Processing is fully integrated with EDI to track all inbound and outbound
movements. Cumulative ordered, shipped and received quantities are tracked along with raw material and fabrication
authorizations. Fabrication and material authorization levels are part of the planning process supporting
extended planning throughout the supply chain.
Shipping schedules for Just-In-Time receipts are generated for vendors utilizing workflow and event-driven e-mail
action messaging.
Purchasing Management provides for on-line requisition and order processing, receiving and outsourcing. Purchasing
is also integrated with Supply Chain Management, Customer Order Management, Manufacturing Execution, and Warehouse
Management.
Warehouse Management integrates the Bin Locator with Inventory Control, the Distribution Release and special
packaging logic for processing of large volume order and shipping transactions to customers, chain stores and their
distribution centers.
The Distribution Release allows for dividing a single sales order line item between a number of truck loads or
different shipping destinations. Combining picking, packing and staging of goods for multiple sales orders
shipped to a single destination can also be achieved with the Distribution Release. |
