Supply Chain & Distribution Center Management

Supply Chain Management is integrated with the Internet, purchasing, tracking of subcontractors’ order/shipping status and for monitoring the inventory level at the subcontractor, warehouse and distribution center locations.  Supply chain planning and execution includes forecast generation from prior year’s history and offshore sourcing.  Workflow Management and e-mail notification combined with EDI and Internet tracking increases the efficiency of the full service supply chain.

Customer Order Management is integrated with on-line sales order processing, forecasting, ERP, inventory control, purchasing, warehouse management and goods return authorization. This module provides full order visibility for Customer Services and it supports on-line order booking, picking, packing, shipping and invoicing. A Sales Portal provides for item selection supported by catalog product images, shopping cart and automatic checking of credit and payment collection. The integration of third party CRM softwarewith JOMAR's Customer Order Management and Mobile Software supports the sales force with sales by customer, product pricing, order and shipping status, customer invoicing and goods return information.

Purchasing provides for on-line purchase order processing and re-order reporting based on MRP – Material Requirements Planning runs complemented with information from the powerful Visual Schedule Board. Buyers manage the actual P.O. releases based on the MRP re-order report and for supply items that are part of Purchase Requisition processing.

Inventory Control provides for on-line 'Availability Check' by SKU, lot, assemblies, kits, chemical containers (i.e. tote, drum, pail and bags with serialization of cotainers), carton, shipping containers, pallets and plastic, paper or fabric roll, steel coil (by heat number), wire spools and cables by specifications and units by serial number. Multiple units of measure are provided for length, weight and volume including conversion from metric to imperial measures. Inventory is integrated with MRP, purchasing and customer services. The cost of inventory is posted to the general ledger and inventory cost analysis including inventory valuation can be performed as required.

Warehouse management is supported by RFID, a Bin Locator system and R.F. picking lists with touch-screens and special packaging software functions for high-rise picking racks integrated with the distribution release for picking and packing large volume shipments to chain stores, customers and warehouses or regional distribution centers.
