Equipment & Parts Manufacturing
Customer Order Management
Booking (group) of machines, replacement parts, assemblies and kits (or sets of parts).
Inventory Control
- On-line 'Availability' by SKU, lot, kit (set of parts or minor assembly), raw material, steel (i.e. coils, bars and sheets) and fasteners
- Warehouse Bin Locator System
- Release levels for Software Controls (incl. NC machinery, synchros, servos, heavy equipment and vehicles)
- Lot and serial number control
Procurement and Parts Distribution
- Purchasing with on-line purchase order and requisition
- Consolidation of orders and parts shipments across warehouses and multi-plant facilities
- EDI integration with Warehouse and regional Distribution Centers for orders of spare parts and shipments
Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Work Order Management, Production Reporting and Control integrated with JOMAR’s Visual Schedule Board and Workflow Management that triggers ‘action messages’ and e-mail notification
- Production of lot or batch of machines
- Order Allocation of parts integrated with Inventory Control, Warehouse Management and single or multi-plant manufacturing operations
- Scrap analysis and reports
- Job and fabrication processes
- R.F. Data Collection across warehouses
- Shop Floor Data Collection and tracking from raw material to finished product by quality, SKU, steel coil or bar stock (piece), lot and serial number
Planning and Scheduling
For single manufacturing plants, multi-plant operations or vertically integrated operations (i.e. stamping, parts manufacturing and assembling) of equipment.
- ERP, MRPII and APS - Advanced Planning and Scheduling
- MRP - Material Requirements Planning
- Rough-Cut Capacity Planning
- Master Assembly Schedule
PDM – Product Data Management
- The PDM data base stores standard and customer specific machine configurations.
- Standard and modified bills of material and shop routers
- Selection of product options and features
- Customer and engineering product specifications
- Engineering 'Change Control' for design, manufacturing and customer field services
- Substitution of parts and software components
Product Configurator
Customer and Engineering specifications combined with Bills of Material and the selection of product options are the basis for the final machine or equipment configuration.
PPC – Product and Parts Commonality Analysis (Optional)
The PPC analysis data becomes the basis for Inventory investment appraisals in Warehouses and Distribution Centers.
PPC also provides an assessment of old parts (with proven design and performance) required in rejuvenated products and in new product lines for product development approval and Product Life Cycle Management which is integrated with PDM.
