In 1999 - 2000, JOMAR engaged its professional staff to completely 'renew' our advanced ERP Software and to develop the web-based and platform independent
Enterprise Software application suite for release to the market in 2001. The next release of the open architecture and 'server -side' Enterprise
Software was installed in 2002. Enhanced multi-platform software features were released each year thereafter to meet the needs of our customers'
diversification of their products and business processes in a changing global market.
JOMAR continues to provide regularly a 'Release Pak' with significant software enhancements for IT solutions, including Mobile Software and Dashboards,
that support our customers' competitive position in the global market.
Mobile Software
JOMAR’s Mobile Software allows the sales force to enter orders and retrieve on-line information for quotations, customer sales, order margins, inventory availability and order or shipping status. Operations personnel can input data to the central server over the internet from warehouse, subcontractors and field service locations.
Field technicians can re-order parts, input data to work orders and inquire for inventory availability or open purchase order information, while on-site. Management, customer sales, engineering, operations, maintenance, field service and dashboard data is sent from the central server to Smartphones, iPhones and the BlackBerry® Storm to improve the efficiency of business processes.
Review of job specifications, reporting of material usage, job or project status and the cost impact of schedule changes are also provided via these mobile devices. Customers, vendors and subcontractor contact information and in-house distribution lists are sent from the server to the mobile device providing integration of mobile phone, e-mail and website access. The JOMAR Mobile Software triggers e-mail notification, from your server, for operational workflow events. A mobile device using the JOMAR Mobile Software will not require downloading and synchronizing the real-time information from the server. All of the aforementioned information is retrieved from and updated on the central server.
Dashboards
‘Short Cuts’ allow users to build their own favorite lists of data, charts, graphs and a direct software navigation path to reduce searching for favorite data that is sent to their desktops and laptops.
'Key Performance indicators' for project and job completion, material usage, labor variances and budget to actual comparisons are presented on the desktop, laptop, the Smartphone, iPhone and the BlackBerry® Storm via a series of dynamic dashboards, charts and graphs. Users can save the building blocks of their favorite presentations. KPIs can be retrieved from a short list of favorite data as job reporting occurs and variances are calculated or budgets being retrieved.
Dashboard data is provided in real-time and does not require a download process. Data is analyzed, summarized and presented dynamically on a user request basis. Users can also access this data with any third party database reporting tool and design their own reports and presentations. The users can use the JOMAR industry standard APIs to integrate these custom charts and graphs for access over the web or from a mobile device used as part of JOMAR Enterprise Software application suite.
